Supreme Court after hearing the argument of Mr Singhvi (Lawyer of Rahul Gandhi) has given stay on conviction to Rahul Gandhi in a defamation case file by BJP leader Purnesh Modi.
After having heard both the parties Supreme Court pointed out many points and observed the judgment of trial Court.
"Supreme Court said, the trial Court has not given the reason for convicting Rahul Gandhi for maximum punishment. If, Rahul Gandhi would have been convicted one day less than maximum punishment then his parliamentry membership would have been with him". As he is a elected member and a public voice, it will be injustice with the voters of his Parliamentary area if he gets convicted for maximum punishment.

There are many points observed by the Supreme Court in the judgement of trial Court and rejection application from High Court.
However, now the conviction got 'stay' and biggest defeat of BJP is now recorded in the history of Indian politics.
The remarks of Supreme Court may be a big blow to Prime Minister Modi as Rahul Gandhi may soon enter into the Parliament and raise his voice more louder then earlier.
The win of Rahul Gandhi against the complainant Mr Purnesh Modi is turning towards big political issue of discussion as people are taking this as defeat of BJP given by Congress.
This decision is also putting question marks on judiciary system and law Minister as to why they did not observed the points observed by the Supreme Court.
Now, what next? Does Rahul Gandhi, after entering into Parliament will continue his questions over Adani's favour given by Modi government?
